Abstract
Every wheelchair is manually operated to move in and around. However, the Smart Wheelchair brings independence and effortlessness to a person. A Smart Wheelchair is a mechanically controlled device designed to have self-mobility with the help of the user command using head/hand effortlessly. This reduces the user’s effort to drive the wheels of the wheelchair.Furthermore, this provides an opportunity for physically impaired persons to move from one place to another. This smart wheelchair will be fully automated and will have a range of 20 km on a single charge and will be able to climb stairs independently without any attachments, this will make the physically challenged person move independently without any assistance.
